Remote Encryption

Send email to sara@dccsupply.com with model of PAX and SN and desired encryption
TSYS - TSYS Esquire 470175
FD - Carlton 500

Confirm the time it will take and make sure to reach back out after the ETA given.

1. If pax device previously had an encryption we must remove it by doing the following steps:

- Open the key inject application

- Password 729465328
- Clear PED Format (remove encryption)

Proceed to press the red button to go back one

  • You should be seeing a screen that says START, STATUS, and Clear PED

Tap on Start

  • The screen should show a “receiving…”

At this point you can exit out this app by either tapping on the circle on the lower part of the screen to go back to the home screen

2. Proceed to tap on the settings app

  • PW: pax9876@@
  • Tap on security
  • RKI Download
  • Key injection
  • 1. InternalPED
  • Start Key Injection

At this point you can re-push the file on the terminal. It’s best to delete the TSYS Sierra app and re-push the file as well as restart the device AFTER completing encryption download.
