How to change a DBA name

To change a DBA (Doing Business As) name on Valor, follow these steps:

1. Click Merchant Management: Log in to the Valor platform and go to "Merchant Management."

2. Search for the Merchant: Use the search bar to find the merchant you want to update. You can search by:

   • Merchant Name
   • EPI (Electronic Payment Identifier)
   • Email
   • Phone number

3. Go to Merchant Overview: Once you search for the merchant, you'll be taken to the Merchant Overview page.

4. Click on the 3 dots (ellipsis): In the top right corner of the Merchant Overview page, you'll see three dots (under the "Add Store" button).

5. Select Edit: From the drop-down menu, click "Edit."

6. Edit the Merchant Information: You’ll see a list with the following options:

   • Store Name
   • Manager
   • Address
   • Zip Code
   • City

7. Update the Store Name: Click on the "Store Name" field and change it to the new DBA name that the ISO (Independent Sales Organization) has provided.

8. Save Changes: After updating the store name, make sure to save the changes.

That should update the DBA name for the merchant in the system!
